I have a small collection of objects in my studio that become the subjects of my still life paintings. These include dried and dead flowers, shells and animal skulls picked up from the beach as well as a selection of cups bowls and jugs that have special qualities for me. These are usually arranged on a backlit table underneath a window in my studio, however different elements may come and go as the painting evolves. Recently some of my paintings have become more about the abstract qualities of the image, playing with flatness and multiple eye levels to produce a balanced result. I also paint from the model in my studio and have recently developed an interest in landscape painting.
Most of the paintings are for sale, if you are interested please contact me using the contact form at the end of this site. Thank you for showing interest in my work.
